These terms apply when you use the 4 The Tradie app or this website. The app is also licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement. By using 4 The Tradie you agree to both.

What 4 The Tradie is

4 The Tradie helps people in the trades check anyone they work for before the job starts, by reading reports from other users and adding their own. It is not insurance, not a credit reporting service, and not legal or financial advice. Use your own judgement before you take on any job.

Community rules for reports

Every report helps the next tradie, so every report has to be fair. When you submit a report you agree that:

• It's about a job you were part of.
• It's honest and factual, and you believe it's true.
• It contains no threats, abuse, hate or harassment.
• It doesn't include private information the app doesn't ask for, such as home addresses, bank details or photos of people.
• It isn't fake, made up, or written to get back at someone.
• You won't use the app to harass, intimidate or shame anyone.

We can edit or remove reports that break these rules, and limit or close accounts that misuse the app.

Reports are users' views

Reports are written by users and show their own experience. We don't check every report before it appears and we don't guarantee they're accurate or complete. If you think a report is wrong, email hello@4thetradieapp.com and we'll review it.

Tradie Pro

• Tradie Pro is A$14.99 a month in Australia. Prices in other countries are set by the App Store and shown before you buy.
• It's billed through your Apple ID and renews automatically each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple ID subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Your account

Keep your details accurate and your device secure. You're responsible for what's posted from your account.

Liability

We provide 4 The Tradie as is. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses that come from decisions you make based on reports in the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the app means you accept the changes.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
